The Black Sand Beach
Last Saturday we went to a black sand beach in the Canary Islands. We went with the Borrow family, Eric, Miss Wendy, her sister, and the Mather family. Everybody, but our family, surfed!
The water was also really cold and we spent most of our time out of the water. There was also a rocky area where you could see many different sea creatures. We went there and saw four starfish! They were many different colors like blue and orange.
It was not very crowded at the beach so we had a lot of room to run and play. Even if we did swim, there was a red flag up, which meant we could not go any deeper in the water than to our stomachs. The people who were surfing got to go a lot deeper than their stomachs!
We had a blast at the beach!
