“I wanted to join Mercy Ships as a teacher because I was fascinated by the idea of teaching students from all over the world on a floating hospital ship in West Africa. My favorite part about teaching in the AFM Academy is of course the students! They bring so many interesting cultures, views, and languages to the table. I love hearing their perspectives and I am often inspired by the way they see things.
